A limited edition deck of jazz-themed playing cards.
THE STORY
While riffing on a shared love for jazz, three creatives struck the perfect chord and decided to create a passion project that blended their skills and obsessions.
As a result, A Pack Of Jazz was born
A Pack of Jazz was a passion project created by three friends — we created every detail from concept and design to printing and art direction for the promotional photoshoot and video. In August 2025, the project was successfully funded on Kickstarter, surpassing its goal by 300%.
WHAT'S IN THE PACK?
While inspired by jazz standards, this is not a standard deck. Each card is individually designed and illustrated, coming together to form a truly unique set.
Instead of hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades, this deck reimagines the suits as Horns, Drums, Keys and Bass - the four instruments at the heart of a jazz quartet.
And for the picture cards, we’ve dealt you something different. Inside the pack, you’ll find iconic jazz legends like Miles Davis, Jetta Hipp, Buddy Rich, Art Blakey, and many more.
Housed in a beautifully designed tuck box, this isn’t just a set of playing cards.
It’s an ode to jazz.
WHO WE ARE
We’re Angie Phillips, Chris Caswell, and Ross Norman —a creative trio of friends who wanted to collaborate on a project combining their love for design and jazz.
