Film director: Håvard Bustnes
ABOUT THE PROJECT

I had the great opportunity to Art Direct & Design the Main Titles & Motion Graphics for the feature documentary 'Trond Giske - Name Of The Game' (Norwegian title 'Trond Giske - Makta rår').

I created the title sequence, main graphics, lower thirds and end credits. Delivering over 30 main sequences for the entire film, both in Norwegian and English.

It was a pleasure to work with the director Håvard Bustnes, who saw the graphics as an integral part of the film.

ABOUT THE TITLE SEQUENCE

The title sequence is made up of one continuous zoom that takes the the viewer through the scandalous stories about Trond Giske that circulated the Norwegian press in the wake of the #MeToo movement.

As social media played a significant role in the story, I wanted the design of the sequence to reflect the digital world. I achieved this by rebuilding a CRT screen look within After Effects, then treated the sequence with various glows, chromatic aberrations and grading techniques to create a cinematic look.
